Happy Halloween!
I'm so happy to have started Halloween lessons! Last Friday, the Hikari classes were the lucky first ones to enjoy all the spooky games. Yesterday, we started our two weeks of Halloween here in Kudamatsu and today I will start in Shunan.
The young kids have really been enjoying making their masks. After we play some games to get them familiar with the new vocabulary, they can choose a template to colour and make into a mask. They can be a jack-o-lantern, spider, Frankenstein, vampire, or cat. It's great to see them so happy and enjoying themselves.
The elementary kids have been playing games such as bongo, karuta, reading bingo (to practice listening), and a game to practice directions in English where they are blindfolded and have to listen to their classmates to put a jack-o-lantern or skeleton on the wall.
I hope you're all having a great time! Happy Halloween!
