Groundhog Day
2014.01.30 Thursday
Hi there everyone!
How have you been? I myself have been super busy with lots of things happening here at ECM simultaneously. :)
We had another round of Eiken tests last weekend. I hope all of you did well. ;) Also, Parent Observation Week is currently taking place at English Club May. In fact, tomorrow's the last day of it. Next, there's Valentine's Week coming up, so preparations for that are currently at the top of my priority list. :D Finally, just after Valentine's Day, we'll start having parent-teacher meetings at ECM, so it's my job to give an accurate evaluation of each and every student. =)
On a more random note, this week in adult classes I introduced 'Groundhog Day' to my students. Apparently, it was the first time they all heard about it so that was interesting. It's an observance that happens every year on February 2nd where an animal called a groundhog helps people determine whether spring will come early and soon this year or not. I guess we'll find out this Sunday, so Happy Groundhog Day everyone! :P
